"it's not too late"-> " non è troppo tardi"
Tardo is not the singular of Tardi
Tardi è un avverbio, Tardo è un aggettivo
tardi= in ritardo -> "LATE"
tardo-> slow (person),for historical periods
example...
Mi sono svegliata tardi = i wake up late
il treno è arrivato in ritardo = the train has arrived late
tu sei tardo di riflessi!
tardo medioevo = the late Middle Ages
