What does this mean? It had a few interesting bits. the context is" I heard some great examples of this on the television program on crocodiles last week. Anyone catch it? It had a few interesting bits. But you know, uh, you have to be careful, think critically. Sometimes I don't know where these shows find their experts."

'It had a few interesting bits' means 'Some parts of the program were interesting'. The implication of 'a few' is that perhaps most of it was not interesting. The later sentences mean that the writer doesn't think that it was very accurate or in-depth either.
