What does "unmark yourself"mean in a soccer game?
The sentence: keep head up to see what's happening on the other side of grid (read the game), communicate, unmark yourself
what does unmark yourself mean? Thanks a lot

If you are a defender, you try to 'mark' a player, by staying close to an opposing attacker, therefore making it harder for that attacker to receive the ball, and pass it, without you getting the ball instead.
That attacker will also try to 'unmark' themselves, by moving away from the defender that is trying to mark them, possibly when the defender is distracted by other play.
