How would you say ?
Would you say :
My sister and I have planned to go to the grocery store
My sister and I plan to go to the grocery store
In a previous post, I used the first sentence for describing a project.
Are these two sentence correct or doesn't the first one sound natural ?

The first one doesn't sound unnatural, but we wouldn't say it. We'd have no reason to use the present perfect here. If the plan is current but you haven't been to the store yet, you'd say 'My sister and I plan...' or 'My sister and I are planning..'.
