程序员：programmer / developer programmer and developer is little different, in chinese, we call them 程序员。 程序员 has many types: 后台程序员、前台程序员等等。 website developer: 网络程序员 or 网站程序员 but we prefer calling the website developer with a language name, such as PHP程序员、ASP程序员。 If you just say 网络程序员 or 网站程序员, it's OK too. software engineer: 软件工程师 other nouns: 系统架构师、需求分析师 etc.

In china, programmer uses the same languages and does the same thing just like you. We use c cpp java asp php html.....Nothing different. however, there are two things different: 1) One day, some self-righteous guys pose a question: Why do we chinese programmers use programming languages based on English? Why don't we create a chinese programming language? Then they start to work... Finally, they create a stuff, named 易语言. ”易“ comes from "容易", meaning "easy". They say: this is an easy programming language for chinese because the key words are all chinese. For example, "int" becomes 整型. "struct" becomes “结构体”, "class" becomes "类“. Most of us think this is totally stupid because this is not a new language, this is just a stupid translator. So only a few of chinese people use that stuff. 2) China is developing its own system. It's like linux + mac, a weird system... In few years, China will force all of chinese government to use this system. The reason is : information security. That's all. I can say: there is no difference between you and us. BTW, I am a developer too. :D
