Both have the same meaning but look for is more informal than search for.

Son más o menos igual. “Search” tiene un significa específico, siempre significa “buscar.“ “Look,“ por solo, tiene docenas de significas, pero cuando junta en la frase “look for” significa “buscar.“
They are about the same. "Search" has one specific meaning, like the Spanish "buscar." "Look," by itself, has dozens of meanings, but the two-word phrase "look for" means "search."
