What's the difference between "diagnostics" and "diagnosis"?
Could you please give me more similar examples like that?

A diagnosis is an educated guess as to what the problem is.
Diagnostics are the tests that you do to try to establish a diagnosis.
'We need to perform some diagnostics to find out the problem'.
'This instrument will do some diagnostics on your car engine'.
'What is your diagnosis doctor? I think he has had a stroke'.
