Go across the road
1. Let's go across the road.
--Is it natural to say it this way when you want to go to the other side of a road?
2. Can I say that let's go to the other side instead of going across the road?
Thank you!

'cross the road' is the most natural way of saying this. Let's cross the road. Or, let's cross over (meaning let's go to the other side).
