Has 'Of them' been omitted in this sentence?
Earthquakes are happening all the time. Most are so small that people don't even feel them. But some can be very powerful.
I think we need 'Of them' after the words 'Most' and 'Some'.
- Most of them are so small that people don't even feel them.
- Some of them can be very powerful.

No, there's nothing missing. It's clear from the context that the pronouns 'Most' and 'some' are referring back to 'Earthquakes' in the previous sentence. You could include the words 'of them', but it is much better style not to.
