Difference between 'circular' and 'orbicular'? I'd like to know the difference between 'circular' and 'orbicular'. They sound pretty similar.

"Circular" is two-dimensional, and "orbicular" is three-dimensional (like an orb). We'd sooner use "spherical" for three-dimensional objects.
