I need to know if these two words are interchangeable inthe ssentence.
They remain changeless / unchanged.
Yhe book only accepts unchanged.why is it?

Changeless means it is is the same. It hasn't changed.
Unchanged can suggest that nobody has changed it. If something is changed, someone or something changed it.
But in many contexts they are interchangeable.
