What does "vyrýpne" mean in this sentence?
Hi all,
This is part of a story, I cannot find the word "vyrýpne" anywhere, can you please help me?
Pojede přes Karlův most, jeho kůň klopýtne a vyrýpne meč.
Thank you,
Nicolás
It means dig out.
The infinitive form of the word is "vyrýpnout". Usually it means to lift from soil by using a garden tool, such as a spade, but in your story the "tool" was the horse's hoof. ;)
You can use this word as well when talking about removing a splinter with needle - vyrýpnout třísku.
