- 머리: hair as a whole. Also means head.
Nowadays 머리 (hair) and 머리카락(hair strand) are the primary words. 머리털 is an old word being phased out.
Examples:
- 너 머리 색이 좋다: Your hair color is good.
- 오늘 머리를 잘라야 겠다: I'll need to get my hair cut today.
- 머리카락 떨어지지 않도록 해: Make sure no hair is falling.
- 책상 위에 머리카락 천지다: The tabletop is full of hairs.
- 그는 머리가 좋다: He is smart. (머리 hear means "head/brain")
- 머리 다치지 않도록 조심해: Be careful not to get your head hurt.
