how can i say "this book belongs to..."

For example, "this book belongs to me", we say it like "this book is mine". この本は私のものです。
Depending on the context, "to belong to..." is translated …に属[ぞく]しています.
(to belong to the group A = A グループに属しています)
So we have to choose the appropriate translation for it thinking about the sentence/situation.
