There are a few expressions---while not literal translations---are often used in the US to express the same feeling.
"Thank God it's Friday" is the most famous. In fact, a well-known restaurant is named after this expression ... "TGI Fridays".
"I'm looking forward to the weekend"
"I'm so happy the weekend is here again"
