What is the best translation of "sacar" in english? I hear it used in many ways in Spanish.

Los principales:
-take out = Yo saco la basura por la noche
-kick off / kick out =. Me sacaron del partido por no jugar bien
- get = saqué buena nota en el examen
-extract = sacan minerales de las minas

I disagree, "take away" means something different. What you're looking for is "get [something] out".
"Can you get the dog out of the living room."
"Can you get the book out of that box?"
"Let me get my pencil out of my backpack."

Take away could be the best translation because "sacar" means remove something from one place.
