삼포세대? 오포세대?
I came across these words while I was reading a webtoon. What do 삼포세대 and 오포세대 mean?

"삼포세대? 오포세대?"
- 삼포: 삼(three) + 포기(giving up, abandonment) => "give up three things"
- 세대: generation
- 삼포 세대: a generation that is giving up on three things
- 오포 세대: a generation that is giving up on five things
삼포 세대 is a term referring to a social trend, about the group of young people who seem to give up on the three things of finding a job, dating, and starting a family. 오포 세대 is similar except there are five things for it. These are just catchy terms that some media use to exaggerate and sensationalize any small social trends to get attention and mileage.
