Whenever somone says they're thankful for something I hear "thankyou very kamsahe". Are they actually speaking English? Why don't they say kansahamnida?

That means 'thank you' and you can say it to your friends! (not official words)

It is not English.. It's slang! we also say kansahamnida(감사합니다).
"kamsahe" = "thank you"
so, "thankyou very kamsahe" is "thank you very so much"
