損をしていないようにうそを発表するなどして問題になりました。
”うそ” と ”発表するなどして” ちょっとわかりません

If we translate the sentence it'd be "Telling such a lie about not having any damage/loss became a problem"
うそ means lie and 発表する means annoucing.
The whole expression means "telling a lie"
など means "such as..." "like that"
Well now that's how I understand the sentence, I'm not a native Japanese speaker so I'd like somebody to correct me if I'm wrong

My translation: "In order to avoid losses he did things like presenting lies and it became a problem"
Vocab:
損をしている= to be at a loss/disadvantage (additionally this can refer to having lost money)
うそを発表する = to announce/present lies
Grammar:
1. ~ように = in order to
2. など = "and things like that"
