Google translate has British accent for English words
Is there any way to change it to American accent???

Actually, I think Google Translate uses more of an American accent than British, but I could be wrong. If you want to look up an individual word and want to hear it in American accent, Merriam-Webster.com is a pretty reliable source. Hope that helps. :)

You can choose the accent. It's still a computer voice, but the nationality and intonation are much better.
