Habt Ihr ... or Haben Sie ... or even Haben Ihr ... ? (just singular and formally - nur siezen)
Are both german sentences correct?
Is the second one wrong at all, or it's at least acceptable in this situation?
Student is asking his professor:
Entschuldigung! Habt Ihr 3 Minuten Zeit?

The second sentence is correct, only the second one in this situation.
The first one would only be correct, if you'd ask two classmates for example but with a small "ihr" then.
