A few phrases in Italin I would like to clear up Dear natives or advanced learner's of Italian! I would like to clear up the meanings of a few phrases in Italian I've recently come across: 1. Sono finito. Does this mean that a person who says it is in a hopeless situation? 2. Tu con me hai chiuso. Does this mean that a perosn who says it does not want anything to do with the person he says it, for example after they had a fight. 3. Ti vuoi mettere con me? Does this mean: "Do you want to go out with me/date me?" Thank you in advance.

The first two are right. Ti vuoi mettere con me? Do you want to be my girlfriend?or do you want to stay in my group? this sentence somewhat depends on the context.

Sorry for the typos and mistakes in the English text. Seems like it's not possible to edit the text.
