to be mapped
What is the meaning 'to be mapped'?
and I am a bit confused these sentences below so it would be appreciated if there is anyone who can explain it more easier.
In order for qualifications to be mapped applications will be required to provide details of practical training elements, which are not always evidence from transcripts or Diploma Supplements alone.

Mapped here simply means 'understood'.
'We need to map it out'. We need to plan it, see the possibilities, get a better understanding of it.
