What does it mean by saying "I had take her to the hospital's emergency room too much....." I had taken her to the hospital's emergency room too much, and in this instance, too long. I don't understand "and in this instance, too long".

The original sentence is poorly written. I read the source article from the link. I agree with Michael on the interpretation.

"too long" = "too much time". Perhaps he had to wait a long time with her because it was busy.
