This song tickled my fancy as soon as I heard it.
I was ( routed) out of the house as I refused to get married. routed is the wrong word, try "thrown"
John was expelled from the lesson because of bad behaviour. expelled is the wrong word as you are expelled from a school but not from a single lesson, we might use "ejected" or "thrown out of"
