Hope With Past Tense Is it right to use the verb "hope" with past tense like these examples? A) I hope you enjoyed the holidays. B) I hope him didn't lie to me yesterday. Thanks in advance.

Yes you can use it in this way. You would say "I hope he didn't lie to me"
