About the verb "claim"
The sentence below is an example in the Cambridge dictionary.
"He claims to have met the president, but I don't believe him."
Is it also correct to rewrite that sentence like this? "He claims that he have met the president, but I don't believe him."

Remember the rules for he/she/it: ""He claims that he HAS met the president, but I don't believe him."
Yes, this is a perfectly fine alternative.
