"Pronounced" as an adjective means "noticeable; conspicuous". It is often used to describe a tendency or a symtom. Please note that it is not always interchangeable with "noticeable"or "conspicuous".

Let me add some examples of use. At sea level on a nice day, the sky is blue; but up in the mountains, the blue is more pronounced. A hen (female chicken) and a rooster (male chicken) both have a red comb on their head, but the rooster's comb is more pronounced. Havarti cheese has a very mild flavor. The flavor of aged cheddar cheese is more pronounced.
