What is the meaning of "auf gut Glück" ? What is the meaning of "auf gut Glück" in the following sentence? es ist sinnlos auf gut Glück in der Endlosigkeit der Wüste einen Brunnen zu suchen. I know "auf gut Glück" means "hit or miss". Why "gut" is used instead of "gutem" ?
