Is this correct, 'They are taking pictures on the way'?
I'm describing a picture of what people are doing in a park. Should I change 'way' with 'road/path'?
Thank you!

"take a picture of + [object]" - not "on"
So are there some people in the park who are taking photos of the road which runs alongside the park? For a normal road, just say "road" or "street". "way" is a less specific.
