What is the meaning of "on-the -ground" in this sentence? MBWA is really useful, at kind of filling in the blanks , you know, getting a good on- the -ground sense of how your products are used and how people need to respond to them. What's the meaning of "on-the-ground" in this sentence? Thanks in advance.

My feeling here, based on what you posted... "on the ground" means: strong solid "on the ground" in this case seems similar to "on the level" meaning: level rooted secure sound (as in strong) Hope that helps.
