about tag question
we know that we can use " he goes to the library, doesn't he?" but how about " he seldom goes to the library, doesn't he?"
or you use " he seldom goes to the library, does he?"
because I think" he seldom goes there" means he do go there but at the same time another thought pop up that the word "seldom" has it's negative meaning is very less. Sounds contradictory :( . can someone help me out with this?

In this case we would use 'He seldom goes to the library, does he?'
There is an explanation here https://www.englishclub.com/grammar/verbs-questions-tag-special.htm
Hope this helps
