Is the sentence correct ?
I heard my teacher said " It wants to rain or It looks like it wants to rain " , maybe I heard wrong , but I want to know if the sentence is correct ? thank you

I heard my teacher said, "It's going to rain."
I heard my teacher said, " It looks like it's going to rain."
Want to rain X > It's going to rain ok

It's colloquial and unscientific, but you can say that. If it's dry, but there's a heavy grey sky, and you can feel a breeze that feels like rain is coming, you can say 'It wants to rain.'
