How do I say it in native English ?
someone is quite talkative ,he was talking blah blah blah , and I can hardly stand ,I want to say: All you have to do is shut up . Is the expression native ? (I don't care if it is polite, but I do care if it is native ), thank you so much .
what about : All you need to do is shut up .

A little softer response, but still quite forceful would be: "Would you please be quiet."
