으려고 negative form
Is there an negative form of 으려고?
In English this would be something like: I took my umbrella in order to not get wet.

"in order to not get wet"
-안 젖으려고(a short negative form using an adverb '안')
예) 안 먹으려고, 안 자려고
-젖지 않으려고(a long negative form using the pattern of ' 젖(the stem of the verb 젖다)+지 않으려고'
예) 먹지 않으려고, 자지 않으려고
