Why? :/ explain to me pls
The sentence is "Kim and Tony weren't the only people in the garden. There.........."
And I wrote there " were some other ones" but it's incorrect :D whyy??? The correct answer is "were some others"

When you say 'other ones' it refers to something really specific - it sounds like you mean 'There are other Kims and Tonys'.
When you mean 'there were some other people,' you just say 'there were some others'.

Actually, both versions are fine. Why told you the first was wrong?
The second would be more common, but both are fine.
