How to say the second meaning or "call" in Japanese
Simple question that is very common in anime when a character says "oh, just call me *InsertFirstName*" because usually they use last name.
Example (Random character called Hyoubu Kyousuke) : Ah, don't be so formal, call me Kyousuke!"
You see ? I don't really know the appropriate verb/expression for that :3.
Thanks.

You can use the verb 呼ぶ[よぶ] (to call out to someone/to call someone X).
If you want to make a polite request that someone call you a particular name, you will use this pattern:
"name" + と呼んで下さい (とよんでください)
This is the simplest way to express this kind of idea. If you have any more questions, please ask.
