What is the difference between "dubious" and "doubtful"? Thank you

The word DUBIOUS has a less trustworthy tone. I found the following definitions for you to illustrate what I mean:
Simple Definitions of dubious
: unsure or uncertain : feeling doubt about something
: causing doubt, uncertainty, or suspicion : likely to be bad or wrong
Simple Definitions of doubtful
: uncertain or unsure about something
: not likely to be true : not probable
: likely to be bad : not worthy of trust
