Hello. I'm native korean speaker. Let me explain it. "파리에 사셨네요." "You lived in Paris." -셨네요 is consisted as -시+었+네요. 시 is for prefinal ending, 었 is for past verb. And 네요 is for prefinal ending, predicate or stem of '이다' which comes after ‘-으시-’, ‘-었-’, ‘-겠-’. And it appears speaker's thought. "로마에 살 때 아이였어요" "When I lived in Rome I was a little child." -살 came from 살다. There is omit such as 살(았을) 때. 살았을 is consisted as 살다+-았-+-을. -았- is prefinal ending and -을 is for modifier ending form which comes after -았-. "남편이 아내한테 보석을 사줘요" "A husband buys jewels for his wife" -사줘요 is consisted as 사다+-주다. -주다 is auxiliary predicate. "파리에 사셨네요." -> You live in Paris (It's the situation, the speaker just found out that you live in Paris) "로마에 살 때 아이였어요" -> I was a child when I live in Rome "남편이 아내한테 보석을 사줘요" -> The husband buys his wife jewelries Specifically, 사셨네요 and 살때 can mean 'buy' or 'give' but not at the same time. it depends on sentences 사줘요 only means 'buy'
