Whats the equivalent of 'the hair of the dog' in spanish?

El pelo/pelaje del perro.
pelaje / pelo = hair
pelo is for people and sometimes for animals ; pelaje is only for animals

it's more correct say "PELAJE" , but nobody say that,,,habitualy we say "PELO"...i have dogs, and in it's passport, there is writing...: COLOR DEL PELO"

Your referring to the hangover cure yeah? (tomar una cerveza por la mañana para prevenir la resaca) I think you can say "(tomar) el pelo del perro que te mordió" But I think it's a more common saying in english. But why would an Irishman want to know how to say that anyway!?? Just joking us Australians are just as bad... possibly. ¡Suerte!
