I find myself torn
Does "I find myself torn" mean "I am confused between two specific sides and choices" or generally "I feel confused"?

Typically, this phrase is used when a person has to make a decision and not just with general confusion. Granted, the person may be confused by having to make the decision, but the idea of being torn is that you are "torn down the middle" like a piece of paper headed in two directions. This doesn't mean the choice is limited to two options, it just means there are different routes to go.
