Was ist der Unterschied zwischen "Post" und "Postamt"?

See Lothar. Postamt is incorrect today and you will just betray you're old. Old people will also say Bundesbahn (it's the same case there).

Today, there is no difference. In former time, "Postamt" was an authority, but now "Post" is a private enterprise.
