what does this sentence mean?
I’m grateful to Paul Whitlatch for acquiring the book, Brant Rumble for nurturing it, and Colin Harrison for seeing it home.
It's a sentence among the Acknowledgements of an English book. I'm not sure what the phrases "acquiring the book", "nurturing it" and "seeing it home" refer to. And the context is here:
I want to thank Josh Levin, David Plotz, Julia Turner, Jonathan L. Fischer, John Swansburg, and everyone else at Slatefor their endless patience and support. I’m grateful to Paul Whitlatch for acquiring the book, Brant Rumble for nurturing it, and Colin Harrison for seeing it home. Thanks to my literary agent, Todd Shuster, and his colleagues at Zachary Shuster Harmsworth, for their valuable advice and input.

这大概是一本书的作者写的自白或前言后序之类的文章,就是一些客气话,具体应该怎么翻译,最好看完全书,或了解个大概背景才好说,作者列举了一大堆应该感谢的人和他们对成书所做的贡献。
