what's the meaning of drive sb. to do sth?
In order to understand those concepts and procedures, I read the papers they sourced carefully. However, it seems like a bottomless pit, and there were too many new concepts and papers to drive my heart to study in America.
Am I right?

It's a difficult thing to say well, so well done with your effort. It would be understood by any native-speaker. This is my suggested text:
In order to understand those concepts and procedures, I read the papers they sourced carefully. However, it seemed like there was a bottomless pit with so many papers to read and new concepts to learn that my heart did not draw me to study in America.

To drive somebody to do something means:
To encourage somebody to do something
To force somebody to do something
To cause somebody to do something
