If u say 나 보고 싶어요 its more like saying "I want to see" since u cannot logical 'miss' yourself
You say it like this:
난 널 보고 싶어 "너" you, being the object of the sentence. If you ever see a letter in korean between friends and family, they will address thr letter 보고 싶은 X, X being the person you are writing to.
보고 싶은 엄마 (the mother I miss) - dear beloved mum
보고 싶은 너 (you who I miss) - Honey, babe etc.
Hope this helps :)
