Community TutorWhich preposition is used with "se spécialiser" ?
If I want to say "I am specialized in (something)," which preposition comes after the verb? Is it:
"Je me suis spécialisé en (quelque chose)"
"Je me suis spécialisé dans (quelque chose)"
OR
"Je me suis spécialisé à (quelque chose)" ?
I am asking because I want to know which pronoun to use when I say "I am specialized in it."
I greatly appreciate your help :)

I am specialized in = je suis spécialiste en/de ou je suis spécialisé dans
I specialized in = je me suis spécialisé en/dans
The two formulations are different, the first one is a status, while the second one is about what you did.
Regarding the correct preposition it depends what you put next, but they are mostly equivalent. Use en when the domain is more general and de when it is more specialized.
Some topics will accept any of the listed prepositions, while it will sound weird with others. It is mostly a question of usage. The most common are je suis spécialiste en / je me suis spécialisé dans le/la.
