"break up on good terms" meaning?
It seems to me a weird way of saying. Does it mean "although two persons break up, they still remain a good relationship"?

Yeah. It usually means the couple didn't fight, but rather, decided/realized that they weren't compatible for a romantic relationship. They usually would be normal friends afterwards.
