han ---> Ellos han comprado, ellos han bebido, ustedes han hecho, ustedes han salido
ha--> Él ha comprado, ella ha bebido...
tiene--> Él tiene dinero, ella tiene un carro, él tiene hambre...

En el castellano antiguo el verbo "haber" equivalía al verbo "tener"
"Ël ha un caballo" --->"Él tiene un caballo"
En el español moderno el verbo "haber" se usa sobre todo como verbo auxiliar
Ha + participio = pretérito perfecto de indicativo. Ël ha cantado
"Ël ha de salir" es parecido a "él tiene que salir"

"To Have" can be translated as "tener" and in some specific cases, as "haver". They however have no relation with each other. No, not at all
Ex: I have a lot of friends! ---- Tengo muchos amigos
She have a nice look ---- Ella tiene un buen "look"
I haven't be there! ---- No he estado allí
You see. I don't have any knowledge at portuguese ( not fuether than "o garota do ipanema" hehe!), so i don't know if these to are related in your language, but i hope this do some help!
