I'd like to point out that "Não faço questão" shouldn't be considered "I don't care".
"I don't care" sounds kind of rude in English, and a direct Portuguese translation would be "Não me interessa", which sounds almost equally rude. Of course it depends on the context.
A better translation for "Não faço questão" would be "I don't mind", or "I don't really mind either way".
Alda Maria's example is really good:
"Eu ia hoje ao cinema, mas tive um imprevisto e já não pude ir. Não tem problema porque não fazia questão de ver aquele filme".
An english translation would be "I was going to the movies today, but something happened and I couldn't go. It's ok because I don't really mind not watching that movie."... see, it doesn't mean "I don't care to watch that movie", it means that he/she wouldn't have minded either way.
