What is 말다 after a noun?
I see someone says "이 음식 말고 다른 거 없나요?" I know what is Verb + 지 말다, but what is 말다 in that sentence?

1. Verb + 지 말다
말다 in this pattern means to 'stop/don't'.
2. "이 음식 말고 다른 거 없나요?"
Not this food(I don't want this food.) Do you have anything else?
말다 : to exclude
가: 세부에 놀러 갈까?
나: 세부 말고 바기오에 가자.
가: 버스 타고 갈까?
나: 버스 말고 비행기 타고 가자.

'말고' means another one.
이거 말고 다른 거 주세요.

;) Hope it helps you.

N 말고 is “instead of" or "except for". That kind of thing. There's also 지 말다 and something else...I think 고 말았다 or something like that...it means "ended up Ving"
